I am trying to figure out where I can see the timetabling failures in the Course Selection Module.
I viewed results by Course and by Student, and I do not find any issues with any course or any student.
At least on my side, everything looks to be fine, but I am worried since there is a failure, I am not sure who it affects. Is there any way I can find out about this failure, even though I do not see any issues by Course or by Student?
Hi @moabdisamad2 Yes, if you go into Results by Student, look for a student that doesn’t have any courses listed next to their name, and this is likely the failure. This means that the timetable engine tried every permutation of classes that it could and wasn’t able to find a workable match. This can happen if the courses they’ve chosen are timetabled in a way that there aren’t options to take all courses with the classes provided. You can increase the “Timetabling Conflict Tollerance” settings to allow creating incomplete timetables rather than failing all together.
