Hello! Thank you for all the hard work on the latest version. I’ve just updated and noticed that if you have two timetables set up, the new timetable view defaults to the first timetable and shows your schedule on that as well as on the second timetable.
My issue is that my schedule is on the second timetable, but the home page view always defaults to the first timetable. It should default to the timetable view that the schedule is using and not show the schedule on both timetables.
Hi @SGi, wonderful to see that you are already getting started with our latest version. Firstly, you can now set a timetable as your default. Once set, this timetable will automatically show on the home page every time you log in. Just remember to update your database using the Update function under System Admin to make sure you’re running the latest version.
Secondly, many users previously asked for a way to see their own schedule without having to manually switch timetables. Now, the latest timetable feature is designed such that you can always view your personal classes and schedule on any timetable. The background timetable will change as needed, but your class view stays consistent and easy to access.
Hi @SGi One of the things people had asked for in the past, which we were never able to do, was to be able to see all of their classes at once. In some schools, teachers span different areas in the school, and would have to constantly switch their timetables in order to see all their classes at once. In the new timetable we were finally able to update this, so that a teacher can see all of their classes. The timetable switcher will still determine the timings of days and periods that show up behind their classes, and it will save the timetable you’ve chosen, so that you can see the one most relevant to you. Hope this helps!
