Update about the release date for Gibbon v31

Dear Gibbon Community,

We’re writing to update you about the upcoming version of Gibbon, v31, which was originally planned for May 2026 and is now planned for November 2026.

The current version in development includes a number of important architectural changes, which are designed to continue to modernize the platform and support future versions of PHP, MySQL and JavaScript. These changes require additional programming and testing, and so we have decided to extend the development time for this version. This expanded timeline will help ensure our small team can continue to release stable well-tested features for our community.

In the coming weeks, we will aim to release v30.0.02 as a minor update, which will include any bug fixes and updated translations for the current version of Gibbon. This minor release will not include new features, but will help ensure schools do not need to wait to resolve any known issues.

Sandra mil gracias por su informacion. Estare fuera de Colombia a partir del viernes 22 de Mayo regresare a Colombia a finales de mes de Julio del 2026.

Espero durante estos dos mese avanzar en las traducciones pendientes.

Igualmente informo al equipo d eGibbon que el Senor Andres Quintero esta colaborando en la presentacion de las diferentes situaciones que se presetan en SANTA MARIA FOUNDATION
