Unable to upload files - 'Failed to write file to disk'

Dear Gibbon support,

I am having issues uploading files to a Gibbon installation (running v18.0.0). In short I’m unable to upload any files.

E.g. Other → Messenger → New Message → Quick Upload → (select a small .txt file) → click ‘upload’

Produces the message ‘Your request failed due to an attachment error. Failed to write file to disk.’. A similar message is given if I try to upload files other ways, e.g. through adding a resource (“Your request failed due to an attachment error. Failed to write file to disk.”

I have checked permissions on the uploads/ folder and its subfolders: they are world-writeable. I note that a parallel site using Nextcloud on the same hosting does not have similar issues, so this seems to be something specific to our Gibbon installation.

Any help with this would be much appreciated!

(In case relevant, please note our site is hosted using Litespeed Enterprise rather than apache.)

This is now resolved - error was due to an incorrect base path setting.

Support for special setups like yours is rather difficult for us. You need to understand that we are a small team and our experience with anything else than lamp is rather limited.
