Well… here I am, at those crossroads where many others had stood, and I’m scratching my head loosing my last hairs.
Our situation:
- We have set classes which are taught once a week at a set time with a set teacher.
- I managed to assign a test student to such a class.
- I created, under ‘Admin → Timetable admin → Timetable → Manage Columns’ a column named after a specific course and with a set time:
- I have, under Manage Timetables, created a timetable with the same course name and assigned it to the year group:
And now I’m hitting the wall.
This specific course is held every Tuesday, weekly, at the same time.
- How can I specify the interval for it? Where can I define the week day and periodicity for it? (I’m aware that I can tie the ‘Day’ schedule to a specific date, but that’s not very useful as those classes are repeating day / time on a weekly schedule.)

I’m starting to doubt that there is any such function. Would I have to manually assign each class to the respective days? That seems not very intuitive as many schools have classes on a weekly base, right?
Second question:
- How can I assign the course to the correct teacher as, when assigning such a Timetable row to a specific date, it shows for all teachers, even those which aren’t set for this specific class as at the moment the schedule shows up on every calendar:
