Take attendance of a student not enrolled in a particular class

Hi there! New to the forum, please be gentle :slight_smile:

I’m overseeing the installation of Gibbon for a dance school. There has been many challenges to fit this app for this particular situation, such as not dividing students per school years - as we have several ages in a determined class - and others that I won’t refer to now.

One issue though arose: sometimes, a student can’t come to their scheduled class, but can make it up for coming to another similar class, even one they’re not enrolled for. Does Gibbon offer a way to mark their attendance? Ideally, the teacher would have an extra field in the attendance page where they could quickly search for the student’s name, mark their attendance, and afterwards an admin would relate that attendance with the class that they were absent.

Thanks, that seems to do the trick, even though it requires a lot of clicks/taps in the beginning of the class for the teacher.
