Student Result or Report Card in Gibbon

Compliment of the Season.
Let me first use this opportunity to say a big thank you to Ross for building Gibbon and it’s awesome features.
We’ve been testing Gibbon for over two weeks now but we’re really bothered about certain features we would like to be very sure if Gibbon has.
So here are our questions:

  1. Please how can a school use Gibbon to create create student results which tells about the academic performance of a student such as the
    test (e.g. 25) and exam (e.g. 65) scores including total (should be automatic e.g. test + exam = 90) of these scores (That is, test + exam) and their grades (e.g. Since total is 90 then it’s grade “A”)?
    PLEASE SEE ATTACHED IMAGE FOR A STUDENT RESULT OR REPORT CARD SAMPLE OF WHAT WE WOULD LIKE TO ACHIEVE WITH Gibbon.

Frank, thanks for your question and welcome to the Gibbon community. My own school, ICHK, focuses considerably less on numeric academic results, and so this kind of functionality is not currently provided. You could certainly use the Internal Assessment part of the Formal Assessment module (under Assess in the main menu) to gather this data. In terms of producing such output, some of the basic elements are covered in Rapid36’s (@andystat) Reporting module, which is available on our Extend page…beyond that your best is to contact Rapid36 for commercial customisation.
