Hi, I just installed V30 and am strting to discover Gibbon. I am currently testing it and have created a sudent alert for a student and the Alert Flag shows above the student photo in the profile but when I click the alert it goes straight to Markbook, Is this a glitch or am I doing someting wrong?

Welcome to the community. When you set up an academic alert (represented by the symbol “A”), clicking it takes you straight to the Markbook section of the student’s profile. That’s intentional, because the academic alerts are created to draw attention to marks or grades that might be concerning. So the system directs you directly to where you need to look. Similarly,
- Behaviour alerts (B) take you to the Behaviour section
- Medical alerts (M) go to Medical
- Individual Needs alerts (IN) take you to Individual Needs
It’s a convenient shortcut to get you exactly where you need to be based on what kind of alert you’re checking. Hope that helps! Thanks.
