May I know if there are any ways that we can stop the birthday alerts of a staff/teacher. Teachers don’t want the students know their birthday.

I don’t think so. However, this can quite easily be fixed through tweaking of the code. It’s Open Source you know. 
Hi ChrisC, my understanding is that birthday icons ought to only display for students. Please can you let me know which screen you are seeing this on, and which version of Gibbon you are using? Thanks, Ross.
