SMTP Email Setup

Hello,
So I have entered the necessary details for email set in the system admin module but when I try to test the email at the end, I get this error:
An error (SMTP connect() failed. https://github.com/PHPMailer/PHPMailer/wiki/Troubleshooting) occurred sending an email to…
I am using gmail. Please any help?

Hi @Fatombi, perhaps check the SMTP section in the docs. If you’re using Gmail SMTP relay, it no longer allows plain text passwords for SMTP, you’ll need to setup an app password:
