Setting activities for a specific date range

Hello Gibbon Team,
I’m trying out the activities module, but I’m confused about activities that have a specific date range. How do I set up specific dates, for example, only for February 24, 2026 - March 3, 2026?

I think there are multiple places you have to look in.
1- the schools setting for the activity (if it is based on date or term)
2- the category (manage category)
3- the activity (manage activity)

I have also confusion because of the new updates.
I recently update Gibbon.
I spend multiple hours trying to figure out, how it is works?
still can not find how the parent can register for their children. @sandra any Idea??
