In Set Future Absence—Multiple Students the list of students no longer seems to populate. Is it possible there is interference due to the calendar module? It was working in v29 without issue, but post-update no longer displays. Tried Safari and Chrome just in case, same.

Thank you @cSanders, it does indeed look like a bug introduced by changes in v30 
The Calendar module has an option to create future absences based on an event, and this has had a knock-on effect in a related bug I had squashed just days before release. I’ve fixed the issue in the following commit, which is luckily a one-file change that should be easy to apply to your system: Attendance: fixed empty list in Set Future Absence when using Select … · GibbonEdu/core@4527a11 · GitHub
