Roll Groups

I installed Gibbon Yesterday and I noticed that Roll Groups are missing. How can I add roll groups?

More questions:

  1. Are the Grade Levels same as year groups?
  2. Are Graduating Classes same as year groups and Grade Levels?

There were some translations that were made.

What of the roll groups? I still can’t find them after deleting and reinstalling the en_US after deleting it from the i18n directory . I tried adding the en_UK but I could not still find the roll groups added on the menu

In this context

  1. Grade Levels is the same as form groups formerly roll groups.
  2. Graduating classes is the same as year groups.

Can you also please check string replacement if there are any configurations made in that area.

Hi Jason.

I tried these changes on one of my test systems. i can confirm that the translations affect the en_US language.

In System admin>Manage Language make sure you have downloaded the en_GB language pack. You will need to select the radio button at the top and press submit. This will apply those translations, en_GB, to your installation.

Thanks for the heads up, we had found and fixed this issue but it looks like some of the file changes may not have updated on the server. I’ve added them again, so the en_US locale should now be correct, and you can access the updated files directly from the repo here: https://github.com/GibbonEdu/i18n/tree/main/en_US/LC_MESSAGES
