ROLE SWITCHER is not working in Gibbon v16

Hello Guys,

I have installed Gibbon v16 and created my database.

Now The issue is I have assigned multiple role to user Like Team lead and support staff.

Generally the user is active under “Support Staff” and inactive under “Team Lead”

When the user is clicking on inactive role then getting the message of “This page isn’t working gibbon.xxx.xxx.xxx is currently unable to handle this request.
HTTP ERROR 500”

Please assist in resolving this issue

Hello, this sounds like a PHP error of some kind. Are you able to check in your PHP error logs to learn more? Let us know what you find and we can help troubleshoot from there. Thanks! Ross.

Is it required database migration from V15 to V16?

I have the database of V15.

Hi jatinrku,

Yes, if you’re using v16 and have a database from v15, be sure to go to System Admin > Update to run the nessesary database changes (& always backup first)
