Hi Ross, 

Is there any way Gibbon can show the position the student has placed within a class of X students on the report card?

Not currently, no. My school does not do rankings, so this has never come up before. If you want custom work on report cards, I would contact @andystat at Rapid36 (http://rapid36.com) for a quotation.
