Hi,
I’ve recently updated to Gibbon V28 and i’ve just noticed that when trying to send a message the submit/send button does not appear until you enable sending email too. My school sends a daily bullitin to all teachers through Gibbon but we would prefer not to send it as an email too so staff inboxes don’t get full.
I’ve attached a screenshot of it too.
Is this an intentional feature or just a bug?

Hi Hamzah, thank you for the heads up, even with all our testing it looks like this bug made it through to v28. I’ve fixed it in v29, which you can find here, and luckily its a one-line fix to /modules/Messenger/src/Forms/MessageForm.php which should be straightforward to apply to your system. Give a shout with any questions and let me know if you spot anything else, there were a lot of changes in the latest version and a lot of permutations to test.
