When an alarm is sounded, the display on mobile devices may need reoptimization.
Today, during a fire drill, I tested the alarm feature and found that I could not cancel the alarm from my phone. During alarms it’s quite frequently the case that users will not be at their desktops, so optimization for cellphones is warranted.
Below are some images of the displays on an iPhone 14 Pro Max. I couldn’t click on the ‘Turn Off’ link as it was hidden behind the browser pulldown view.
In portrait view it’s poorly displayed and could use further UX adjustments. There is also no option to ‘Turn Off’ or it is hidden in margins.
