James,
Please try not to spam the forums! We just received 3 different versions of this same message, which means we spend more time reading, and have less time to answer others.
After performing the update, did you run /update.php on your server, in order to update the database?
Did you upgrade a vanilla install or v11, or was it a version with custom hacks?
What browser are you using? If your browser offers Inspect Element, are you seeing any errors in there?
When you did the update, did you upgrade all files?
Thanks,
Ross
Sorry for sending multiple messages. I ran the file update.php. I use Chrome, Firefox and Microsoft Edge I upgraded to ver 12 from ver. 11. Is there a secondary means of updating the database or what do I do?
When you ran update.php did you get a green message saying your request was successful?
Yes I got the green box…is there an alternative means of salvaging the issues? Maybe update something manualy
James,
If you see the green box, then there should be nothing else to do on the update front.
Please can you check the browser console for errors, using Inspect Element, and also check your PHP error log to see if anything is recorded there.
Thanks,
Ross
James,
I think the issue here might be your PHP version. We have update Gibbon’s minimum version to PHP 5.5. Can you please check what version you are running?
Thanks,
Ross
Upgraded to ver 7 works flawlesy
Thanks for updating us James, glad it is working well.
