Kindly asking that you add Eastern Caribbean Dollars (XCD) to your currency list.
Thanks!
Hi Trent,
No problem, this has been added to v17, but the change can be incorporated back into v16 if needed (just copy the new line of code from v17 back into the same file in v16):

Hi Ross
Appreciate the great work you are doing. Heads up.
Can we add Sri Lankan Rupee (Rs.) to the list of existing currency list?
Imtiyaz
Hi Imtiyaz,
I am more than happy to do this (not least because Sri Lanka is one of the my favourite countries to visit!). Please find the change in the v17 branch commit below:
https://github.com/GibbonEdu/core/commit/fb952ec25d4569a67f4c4fa126daa986fef92f89
You can copy this single-line change into a v16 installation if you want to have access to this before the January 20th 2019 release of v17.
Thanks,
Ross

Hi Ross,
Could you please add Maldivian currency (MVR, Rf or Ž) to the core as well.
I believe the shortest code (Ž) is most preferred.
Thanks
Ahmed
Hi Ahmed, your currency has already been added in v19, which means someone else in the Maldives is already interested in Gibbon : ) Check out line 442 in the following file:
https://github.com/GibbonEdu/core/blob/v19.0.00/src/Forms/FormFactory.php
You can add this to the equivalent file in a v18.0.01 or earlier install, and it should give you the currency as an option. Iāll leave the symbol as Rf for now, as changing it to Ž may disrupt other installations already using the currency.
Cheers,
Ross
Hello, nice to meet you, Alejandro Cuadra, freelance programmer.
Iām implementing Gibbon in a school in Nicaragua, but I canāt find my local currency, the Nicaraguan córdoba: NIO C$.
Could you please add it:
ISO code = NIO
Symbol = C$
I would really appreciate it.
Regards.
Hi @AlejandroCuadra Welcome to the community and thanks for your request
Iāve added Nicaraguan córdoba to v28.0.00, our current development version, and you can optionally add it to your system by making the code changes here: System: added Nicaraguan Córdoba C$ as a currency option Ā· GibbonEdu/core@ff8d2e4 Ā· GitHub
Hello Gibbon Team,
I am currently setting up a Gibbon instance in Peru and noticed that the Peruvian Sol (PEN) is not yet available in the system settings.
Could you please add it to the core in the next update? Here are the details:
-
Currency Name: Peruvian Sol
-
Currency Code: PEN
-
Currency Symbol: S/.
Thank you for this amazing open-source project!
