I’d like to remove the Religion and Country of Origin fields from the user records in our Gibbon Instance, since my institution doesn’t collect that information.
I’ve not been able to find a way to remove a field through the Gibbon Interface. I’m pretty comfortable with programming, so just being pointed towards how that’s setup so that I can design a module to remove them would be appreciated.
To hide these fields during data updates, go to User Admin > Data Updater Settings and set the relevant fields to hidden.
Although User Admins can still access these fields on the Edit User page, you can prevent them from appearing by navigating to User Admin > User Settings and clearing the options for Nationalities, Ethnicity, and Religions. This will ensure no options are displayed and they can be kept blank.
To remove the fields from the Application Form, use the Form Builder to edit the form and delete these fields as needed.
