Hi all, terribly sorry if this question was asked before, but I couldn’t find any.
I am trying to test Gibbon using XAMPP (both on MAC and windows environment), but keep getting stuck at Step 1. I choose the language and hit the SUBMIT button, but nothing happens. No error messages. The browser just remains unresponsive. Hope this is not an unnecessary question.
A bit off-topic. I can confirm that the search is not working very well or I just don’t know how to use it. I get better results using Google. 
Roman, it is true, Vanilla’s search is not great : ( I also find Google better.
fehaye, I wonder if you’ve checked your PHP error logs? Often errors that don’t display on screen are logged for access by admins. The location of the logs depends on your server stack.
