Future attendance - dropdown list missing when logged in as parent

Hello, when I try to add a future absence while logged in as a parent, the absence type dropdown list does not have any entries.
I can’t save the absence since it’s a required field. It does work when I add it from an administrator login.

The future absence tool isn’t necessarily intended to be used by parents, since it allows a user to set absences for any student in the school and there is no approval/notification process. Generally, parents would contact the student’s pastoral teacher or reception and then the teacher or office admin would enter the absence for them. Hope this helps!
