Enrollment letter

Hello,
Thank you very much for the work you have done and still doing.
I have a question that might sound too basic but I looked almost everywhere to try and find a solution for it. How can i issue an enrollment letter or acceptance letter to the parents and the students (this is a formal letter that they can use for other services and also a proof of their registration)?

I’m not aware of a solution for this. However, this is a feature that has been asked for several times. I would also be happy to have this feature implemented one day, e.g. sending an email to all family members anytime a student application form is accepted. :slight_smile:

thank you for the replay, Im trying to find a solution for this, for now I am working to understand the code and exploit it.
the db person table seems to have all the data I need. Thinking of a module here.
what do you think @meierrom?

This feature would be well placed in the Students module, and could draw information from the gibbonPerson table as you suggest. Have you worked out how to add actions to modules yet?

If your adjustments work, we can show you how to commit them to the next version of Gibbon.

Going the module way is tough if it is not part of the core modules because maintenance will be up to you entirely. Why not trying to modify the existing code by working together with the dev team as Ross is suggesting?
