Demo Installation Problem

Hi

I’ve installed Gibbon using XAMPP for testing with the demo data. Installation was all good, but now any time I press on any link in Gibbon it redirects to the XAMPP dashboard. Any help?

It sounds like this may be related to XAMPP not detecting the directory correctly, which a user recently reported. Can you try the same steps here and see if that fixes the issue: https://ask.gibbonedu.org/discussion/4018/wrong-links#latest

Hi, thanks for your response.

absoluteURL was pointed to http://localhost\gibbon. A change to http://localhost/gibbon fixed it.
