Data Updater Question

Hello, I am a new Gibbon user an have been working through the program to get our registration system up and running for Fall 2025. Reading through these forums has been very helpful this past week!

Currently I am having a problem with the data updater. It is always showing there is something to update. I did hide some of the information but everything I had marked as *required is filled in. I also went and accepted the changes everywhere applicable under Manage Updates. (Family, Finance, Staff etc.)

I am not sure what I am missing.

This seems quite unusual. You have to ensure that all the required fields in the Data forms are filled in and the ones you have hidden are not required fields. If you have already ensured all this, then maybe something broke when you hid some of the information. Do you mind sharing more information about what information have you hid to be able to resolve the issue.

I have checked and double checked. I do not see any required fields that are not filled in. We only have 2 users currently so I am trying to figure this out before parents start to Inquire or register.

Here are photos of data on my account. It is strange that I see a custom field on my personal data. It was assigned to only the Student Role Category. Perhaps because I have an administrator account and can change my role to a student?

I think some of your settings may cause this issue. Could you maybe share the screenshot of your settings section of the Data Updater Settings page.

The first 3 photos are my data updater settings. Is that not what you are needing?

Thank you!!! It was something so simple. I had the date to check for updates set a month after our school start date. When I first read this I thought it was a due date for changes to be made. I changed the date to today an bam, no more corrections needed.
