Creating school terms - whole or split

Hi I want to set up our school terms, what’s the best approach, for term 1 and 2 they are split, should I create three terms and then add the holidays or create term1a, term1b etc?

Hi @tmike

I would say that depends. Here are some things to consider:
Are the holidays simply mid-term breaks? Then I would say keep it at Term 1, Term 2 etc
Do you generate reports for Term 1a, Term 1b etc. Then you might have to split your terms up.

Thanks for the reply, we only send termly reports, so Term1, Term2 seems to be the way to set these up and then add holidays for the mid term breaks
