how do i promote all the students at once from one class to the next insted a of promoting one by one?

If it’s the end of year, you could look into using the Timetable Admin > Course Enrolment Rollover tool. Otherwise, you can go into Course Enrolment by Class and there are checkboxes down the right-hand column, and a check-all box at the top. When you select a checkbox, you’ll see a dropdown with an option to Copy to Course, which can copy all participants in one class to another.
