A school where I manage the Gibbon install needs to run a full attendance summary report (for the Visa Service for two former students for the 2023-24 school year. I can find the summary page on the student profile but it is only for the current year. I know that data is in there somewhere… But how do I access it in a nice form to show the Visa people?
Is this in the correct section, or should I have put it in general? Many apologies if it is in the wrong place. Any advice on this is welcome. Do I need to query the database via SQL or is there a built-in functionality for this? Many thanks again…
Hi @sdbaldwin, if this is a one-off request that doesn’t happen often, you could temporarily set the students from Left to Full in User Admin, then login to last year and use the summary page to get their attendance summary from last year. Then, set them back to Left when done. Otherwise, if it’s a common request, then writing a query is one option, or creating a custom Report for attendance may be another option to explore.
Hi Sandra, thank you so much for the reply. This is the first such request in 4 years so hopefully we won’t be having to do this too much. I didn’t know that I could log into a previous year, that looks like the easiest option. I will try it as the school is on holiday next week. Thank you again…
