Allow the System Admins the Ability to Edit the Application page on Successful Submission


It would be extremely useful to have the ability to edit this portion of the application form.

We’ve noticed that students applying to our program don’t look at the postscript of the last page or the last question in the application pertaining to getting an email for submission success. So I was wondering if on the next Gibbon update, the user can have the ability to edit this portion of the application form (preferably text but also have the ability to enter hyperlinks) for when the student has successfully submitted an application.

Hi @moabdisamad2 Thanks for your feedback and feature suggestion, we can look at adding this to a future version. In the meantime, you may be able to use the System Admin > String Replace tool to replace some or all of this message box. These are the three strings being used:

  • Your application was successfully submitted. Our admissions team will review your application and be in touch in due course.
  • If you need to contact the school in reference to this application, please quote the following number:
  • Please contact %1$s if you have any questions, comments or complaints.
