Hello Ross,
Thank you for your response. It is true that the Central African Francs (FCFA) is available in the system but it is different from the West African Francs (FCFA) whose ISO code is XOF which is different from Central African Francs one which is XAF. In republic of Benin, we used the West African Francs (FCFA) so please help me to add it to the system.
Hi Lee, thanks for clarifying. I’ve added West African Francs (FCFA) in the commit linked below. You can take the newly added line in FormFactory.php and add it into a v15 installation and it should work fine:
Hi Admin, First of all I’d like to thank you for making gibbon available for everyone!!
I’m starting to use your software in Guatemala Central America, and I’d appreciate if you can add the Quetzal currency to the installation.
The currency abreviation is: Q.
Hello aperezgt, thanks for your kind words, and welcome to the community : ) I’ve added the Guatemalan Quetzal to the v17 develop branch of Gibbon, as per the following commit:
H Ross, Could you add the XCD (Estearn Caribbean Dollars) 7 islands use it…I setup my website with Jamaican one for now but wont work once I get my site live…
Much appreciated!

I’ve made the change in our v18 development branch. If you are running v17, you can take the changes made in the commit linked below, and replicate them in your own system:
Hello Ross,
Thank you for making gibbon available for everyone. I am from Maldives ( a small country in south Asia). We have started using this software recently. I’d appreciate if you can add the Maldives Currency ( Maldivian Rufiyaa (MVR) to the system.
v19 will be released January 20th, 2020. However, if you want to use the currency now, you can duplicate the change in your own installation and it should work fine.
If you are using v18.0.01 or earlier, you can take the new line on 441 of /src/Forms/FormFactory.php, and add it to your own copy of that file, and it should work.
You can replicate this change into the equivalent v21 file if you want to start using it now.
In terms of language, pt_PT is currently still in development. If you email us at support@gibbonedu.org I can add you to the language team. It is 58% complete: if you can get it to 75% or higher we will activate it.
