A database connection could not be established .

Hi All
i am getting this error. like " A database connection could not be established. Please try again ". when i am installing this application in my local system after step 2 getting that Error. i have input the value at the respective field.
. after that next step i am getting error

I have Installed the software in my system:
XAMPP Version: 7.2.14
Windows Version: Enterprise 64-bit
Gibbon- v17.0.00

please help me

Hi diptiranjan, the MySQL username and password to use here will be set during the XAMPP install. The username is most likely root, and from what I’ve read online the password is set to blank, which Gibbon does not allow. I suggest you look at how to change your XAMPP MySQL root password. Good luck!
