Hi guys, i am very excieted using Gibbon, i am setting a new school and learning a lot about the system.

I was looking in the forum discussions about Report Cards, but i cant find any option, and i want to know how to create a Report Card from the gradebooks, i mean create a Report Card for each student and include in that Report Card every class and grades.

Hi ogol, let’s see what @andystat, the author of the Reporting module (which is an additional module in Gibbon, and so not included in the core) might be able to offer.

Andy, is this something your Reporting module can do, either the open source version, or the commercial version?

It is certainly possible. We have tried pulling grades out of the markbook before but I don’t have an operational version. Ogol, can you give us an idea as to exactly what you expect to see, e.g. will the report be a table of subjects against grades? Will all subjects have the same number of grades? If you can give me an example of the sort of output you want we can see how feasible it is to do it.

Hi Ogol, that is very odd, as your role is Member, and this role does have access to create attachments:

I am also interested in student report card generation. Is there a guide/tutorial on using the module?

Hi Tieku, there is now a Reports module included in Gibbon by default, there is some documentation here that may help you get started: https://docs.gibbonedu.org/administrators/reports/
