For “old” students, if their status is set to Left you an find them by using the All Users checkbox in the View Students page, or by finding them in User Admin > All Users.
There are a couple ways students may disappear: if they’re set to Left, or have an End Date that is in the past, then they will no longer appear in class lists. They will also disappear if they no longer have an enrolment in the current school year (Students > Student Enrolment)
You can change the form group for a student in Student Enrolment as well. Search for the student, then edit them to change their year group and/or form group.
