# Markbook - term filter

Hi, are the term filters working by the date rather than term date? (I saw posts from 2019). I have two seperate markbooks for two semesters, but both show under Term 1. When I change the date of the 1st term to later than the 2nd term, then the markbook shows up only for the 1st term. However when I go to student’s profile and use sort by term 1 filter, then there are no records to display. When I go to 2nd term then all markbooks show up there.  
How to work around that? Please could someone help?
