I am trying to lend books but I cannot find where to record the books i am lending students. I have checke throughout the library facility on the software. Can you assist me. All the books have been entered into the system and students have been enrolled. i now want to lend books. By the way, advice from Sandra has been great and i am starting to enjoy using the software
Hi Mhlanga123, great to hear you’re enjoying using Gibbon. The lending page in the Library module can be accessed from the Lending action link on a records on the Manage Catalogue page, or from the Lending & Activity Log page. From here, there is a button to Sign Out the record. If you don’t see these options, be sure to check User Admin > Manage Permissions to see that your user has access to these permissions.
