Emergency Data Summary

Dear All,

When i was trying to view the student emergency data summary. Some students will show their Parent contact, some will not. I then check the Family records. All Students have their corresponding Mother/Father relationship to the Adult records. Anyone have the same experience? Appreciated if you could provide me some hints to this issue.

My Gibbon version is 19.

Thanks,
Chris

Attached the screenshot for your reference. When all students being assigned to the corresponding family. I assume the parents’ record should show. Please help!

Hi Chris,

For the parents to show here they will need to have user accounts with Status set to Full and having met their Start Date blank or set to a date in the past. You can check this under Admin > User Admin > Manage Users. Can you confirm that this is the case for those parents?

Thanks,

Ross

Hi Ross,

Thanks for your advise. Just double checked and confirmed that all existing parents’ Status is “Full” and the start date are on 14 Aug 2020.

Should there be any other settings that i’ve overlooked?

Chris

Hi Chris,

That is odd. Please can you share a screenshot of the Edit Family page of one of the families that is not working?

Firefox has a great scrolling screenshot function, if the page is longer than a single screen.

Thanks,

Ross

Hi Ross,

Attached please find the screenshot for your reference.

Thanks,
Chris

Hi Chris, that is odd as it all looks right, and so I think I’m going to have to ask for input from @ross (Gibbon’s Maintainer).

Hi Sandra, any ideas what might be caused this?

Thanks,

Ross

Hi Ross and Chris,

I’ll check this out and let you know.

Thanks!

Thanks Ross, Sandra, I will look forward to the good news.

Regards,
Chris

Hi Chris,

Looks like this was a bug in v19 that has since been fixed for v20+. You can find the exact fix here, and apply it to your code: https://github.com/GibbonEdu/core/commit/4d5a906fcae7c0155d57daf543ba324712ee9684 Otherwise upgrading Gibbon will also solve the issue.

Hi Sandra, Ross,

The fix solved the problem. thank you so much.

Best regards,
Chris
