Are there recommended hosting specifications?

Hi. This is the first time I'm looking into hosting a web app.

Are there recommended hosting specifications for gibbon?

For around 2000 users, what would the required CPU cores, RAM be?
And would you recommend a separate database instance like AWS RDS, or host both gibbon and the database on the same machine?

Hi Karthik, welcome to the forums. Gibbon tends to be pretty lean in terms of server requirement, something around 4-6 cores with 8-10GB ram should be plenty. For 2000 users you should easily be able to run the database and server on the same server/virtual machine.
