Exporting student and teacher data

Does Gibbon have a utility to export student and teacher demographic data in CSV format? Our library application needs to import that data to circulate library resources to them. We can also schedule chron jobs to update that data on a scheduled basis. If this is not possible, we would be happy to develop this utility or enhance it. Thanks
